BA last - This last is designed to avoid the generally "sloppy" fit of many trekking boots that may provide instant comfort in store, but fail to perform when needed. We have worked to provide a precision fit that will inspire confidence when used. The forefoot and toe volume are generous, without feeling over roomy, the arch and heel area are superbly sculpted to provide the desired hold and support during use.
Hi Trial Sole - This Vibram sole unit used on the ZG Models, is incredibly light, yet unlike others who have tried to lighten soles by lowering the profile, it retains deep cleating that gives outstanding grip. Based on a Megabyte trekking mix, it gives great adhesion with easy self cleaning action during use. The combination of rubber outsole and ultra-Lite PU wedge gives great underfoot shock absorption.
Hi-Flex - A midsole with generous flex down its length but offering good lateral support. Featured in the walking boot range it not only provides good support for walking, but is also instantly comfortable and requires virtually no breaking in. Can be Poly propelene, Nylon or Texon material dependant on model.
