Review OK to apply and appears to repel water very well. The only unknown is how long it lasts but the signs are good.

Review I used the Nicwax Cottonproofer to give extra staying power to a few outdoor cotton clothing items ( even a baseball cap )and washed some garden seat covers in it . Happy with the results . Water beads on the items and can be shook off .

Review The product itself is excellent in terms of rendering a large cotton proof superbly waterproof. The application to a large tent is exhausting and time-consuming but worth it. This was tested within two weeks by a spectacular electrical storm in the French Pyrenees. However, the product needs clearer labelling for the consumer. One litre will comfortably waterproof a large cotton tent. In my ignorance, I bought 5! (Doh!)
