Berghaus backpacks are some of the best on the market, they have some excellent features which set them apart from their rivals, here is a breakdown of the different features and what they are designed for.
Berghaus's entry level packing range with adjustable Biofit back system. Allows one size to fit all. Simply position the hip belt in the correct place and adjust the back length by pulling down on the webbing pull. The rucsac is at the correct fitting once the shoulders strap is in contact with the top and back of the shoulder.

Quick access to main compartment via extra zip on front
Berghaus Freeflow Back System
We know in the wilderness, a little comfort can make the difference. Freeflow IV’s 'No sweat' system with its new features improves airflow to give you even more comfort. Essentially this great technology gives you air around all your body parts which would normally touch the bag, making for a much cooler less sweaty experience.
Smaller mesh panels with more gaps for improved airflow
Evabreathe improves breathability of the shoulder straps
Berghaus have revised our award-winning Bioflex® rucsac back system, bringing even greater benefits to the innovative system that responds to the body’s natural movement.
When you twist, it twists. When you flex, it flexes. When you bend, it bends, that’s the simple principle behind the innovative Bioflex® Rucsac
Berghaus EVA Breathe
Unique EVAbreathe® Matrix Foam Technology, combined with high performance rucsac carrying systems result in the most breathable, comfortable rucsacs available
Perforated EVA foam sheets are laminated together in an offset pattern creating a honeycomb matrix effect. This structure can be manufactured in multiple layers thus allowing it to be used in different areas of the rucsac carrying system.
The unique structure of the inter-linked matrix of cavities ensures the foam does not collapse into sealed cavities when worn, which would restrict airflow. Air travel through the inter-linked cavities and passes out of the edges of the back system.
This ensures maximum airflow and moisture vapour transfer, resulting in drier, more breathable back system, ultimately improving user comfort.
Berghaus Jalan Luxe
A lot of research came before the design of the Jalan Luxe, to find out about different travel experiences and essentially what people really want from a travel pack. Berghaus spoke to retailers and consumers and through interviews and focus groups discovered their real needs and wants... There are many different thoughts on this topic - from people who will only ever carry the bare minimum with the most simplicity, to people who prefer to have every feature possible, even at the expense of added weight. The Jalan Luxe is the perfect travel pack for the person who wants comfort, quality, well considered features and uncompromised performance, at a reasonable weight and price.
