The womens Berghaus Glissade Jacket has been revamped and now has a relaxed cut. This ladies Glissade uses Gore-Tex to ensure it is waterproof and breathable whilst being lightweight, making it an ideal traditional walking jacket for all year round use. The Berghaus Womens Glissade is interactive or zip in compatible meaning an IA fleece can be zipped into it to create a fantastic 3 in 1 jacket.

A great versitile jacket to have in any wardrobe

A great versitile jacket to have in any wardrobe.After researching womens berghaus jackets,I am glad I choose the Glissade.it is good quality, a lovely fit including excelent hood,finishes below the hip,good length sleeve,in an amazing dark purple colour.really impressed with this jacket,waiting to try it out in the rain.

Excellent service from Simplyhike

Excellent service from Simplyhike. The jacket was the colour I expected and the sizing was perfect. The length was shorter than I expected having read other reviews - I am only 5'2" and it just covers my bottom! It replaces a Berghaus Goretex jacket I have had for over 10 years having been washed and reproofed several times - I hope this one will last as long. Haven't tested the waterproofness of this one yet but it is lightweight and definitely breatheable. Overall I am delighted with this item.

Very well made jacket with great attention to detail

Very well made jacket with great attention to detail, e.g. the chest pocket and waist drawstring are accessible when the jacket is zipped up. Looks quite nice but the cut could be more sporty and flattering. Longish, but not as long as it appears on picture, i.e. hardly longer than the jackets without a waist drawstring. Hood good and adjustable, but found it not quite as easy to adjust and make fit as some other hoods. Waterproofing not tried in the field yet, but under a tap very impressive - pearls off completely with no trace of wetness left on the fabric.
