Info on the Coleman Avior X2 Tent

As part of the Coleman Backpacking tent Range the Coleman Avior X2 camping Tent is the ultimate in adventurers. This two man tent has lightweight aluminium poles and a ripstop flysheet which will keep you safe from the elements. Coleman tents are well known for their quality and long life and this tent is particulary easy to put up due to its colour coded poles and sleeves.

Fire Retardant
Coleman Easy Set Up System - colour coded poles and pole sleeves ensure that the right poles are placed in the right sleeves, first time. Ring and pin pole-to-groundsheet attachment.
WeatherTec System - water repellent PU coated polyester fabric. Fully taped seams prevent water from seeping through. Welded corners for a leak-free, more resilient finish and welded floors provide resistance and tent longevity. ZipperCuff design adds protection to tent doors during inclement weather.
Variflo System - Unique ventilation system reduces condensation inside the tent by controlling the airflow from inside.

We hope you will be completely satisfied with the Coleman Avior X2 Tent purchased from Simply Hike. However should you wish, you can return the Coleman Avior X2 Tent for any reason within 28 days from the date of despatch for a full refund (less postage costs).

Items must be unused and in an as new condition with all packaging and labels/tags attached. The latest date for returns is printed on your delivery note for clarification.

Cannot say on how weather proof it is as have not used it, but to put it up in under 10 minutes without reading the instructions; superb tent, I am however quite tall so 3 inches higher at the hight point would have been more comfortable. Superb tent mind

first time the tent was used it was

first time the tent was used it was -5 degrees and snowing on dartmoor during ten tors training, tent was excellent

Excellent tent

Excellent tent, well made and simple to erect. good hydrostatic head which is always useful in this climate! the only small gripe I have is that, in common with other 2 man tents space is tight - more than ample for one, but if you really need it for two persons - go for the X3 version.

I think this little tent is great

I think this little tent is great - except for one thing! The side entrance, which looks fine to start with, does not zip up well after it has been opened. The gap allows bugs in easily, and just spoils it for me. I have phoned Coleman about this twice, but after being told they would get back to me, they haven't. Call me cynical but I think they simply didn't bother to unzip it at the design stage...so if you like a bug-free tent...
