The Rock Springs 4 camping Tent 2012 edition is a four man tent with an integrated groundsheet offering that secure home-like feel at the campsite. This dome tent has a front porch area with large PVC view windows which is perfect for storage and lets you check out the conditions before you step outside in the morning. This Coleman tent also offers maximum conveniency thanks to its two doors (front and back). Ideal as a festival tent but also a family tent.

Having never camped before

Having never camped before (well maybe once when I was a kid) I needed to buy a tent which would be easy to pitch and comfortable enough for two people with the possibility of accommodating up to four people if needed. I'm so glad I plumped for the Coleman Rock Springs 4 tent. It ticked both boxes and within 30 minutes the tent was pitched and the Coleman Raised Quickbed - Queen bed I also bought from Simplyhike.co.uk was inflated inside. Because the bed itself fills most of the main sleeping area, the front and back entry to the tent is very useful so there'll be no disturbing my partner when getting out of bed. The porch is also a useful addition as it seems to be large enough that it'll hold all of our baggage for the trip. The way the tent is constructed (i.e. with the steeply pitched dome) means that even with this raised inflatable bed inside there's still enough head room to not feel restricted. All in all, I'm really pleased with this purchase and I'm looking forward to the first camping trip in June

Good tent apart from the missing guyline

Good tent apart from the missing guyline... :) Not much slack on the webbing in the middle, seems to put a bit of strain on the fabric, which might lead to problems later on. Overall though, very good tent, so easy to put up and down. Definitely would be tight for four people, but three would be fine, and the porch is handy for storing bits and pieces. The second door at the back is useful too. Poles are included for the front canopy but seems a bit of a waste of time as it is so low. Low inside as well, so obviously wouldn't use this for an extended camping trip but for a weekend it's great, and reasonably priced too!
