Info on the Columbia Womens Ashlane Low Omni Tech Walking Shoe

The Womens Ashlane Low is a trekking and walking shoe designed for hiking, camping, mountain biking and general outdoor use. The Ashlane is constructed using Columbia's Omni Tech Technology which provides waterproofing along with breathability meaning damp air is wicked to the outer surface allowing the feet to remain dry throughout your activity. This womens walking shoe has a rubberised toe overlay to protect against scuffs and abrasions whilst a non marking Omni Grip outsole provides a stable hiking design suitable for any terrain. Inside the Ashlane Low Columbia has added a Techlite midsole to add lightweight cushioning and an exposed shank provides support and rigidity. The Ashlane includes a Contour Comfort 1D footbed which is impregnated with Silver Ion anti odour treatment to keep your feet smelling rosy but also adds cushioning, comfort and support.

Specification

• Omni-Tech: Provides waterproof and breathable protection. The first layer of defense is Omni-Shield, which prevents most water from ever making contact with the inner layers. A microporous membrane then provides the primary and most impervious layer of defense by completely blocking the passage of water molecules into the fabric. Omni-Tech membranes are 100% air permeable, which allows moisture vapours to escape. This superior breathability keeps you dry from the inside out. The lining materials protect the Omni-Tech membrane from underneath, while adding additional wicking properties.
