Info on the Nikwax Cotton Proof

Nikwax Cottonproof - for wash-in waterproofing cotton and polycotton clothing and canvas tents.

Specification

Sizes: 300ml, 1 Litre, 5 Litres
To proof clothing, use 2 full caps (100 ml) for 1 item and 3 full caps (150 ml) for 2-3 items.
For dry cotton tents, dilute with 6 parts warm water (1:6) and for wet cotton tents dilute with only 2 parts warm water (1:2).

This item cannot be sent outside the UK

How much will it cost to deliver my order?

Standard delivery is 2-3 days from the date of despatch. Orders under £100 the postage is £3.99 but orders over £100 the postage is FREE (UK Mainland Only)

Express delivery is 1 - 2 days from the date of despatch - £5.99

We hope you will be completely satisfied with the Nikwax Cotton Proof purchased from Simply Hike. However should you wish, you can return the Nikwax Cotton Proof for any reason within 28 days from the date of despatch for a full refund (less postage costs).

Items must be unused and in an as new condition with all packaging and labels/tags attached. The latest date for returns is printed on your delivery note for clarification.

I used the Nicwax Cottonproofer to give extra staying power...

I used the Nicwax Cottonproofer to give extra staying power to a few outdoor cotton clothing items ( even a baseball cap )and washed some garden seat covers in it . Happy with the results . Water beads on the items and can be shook off .

The product itself is excellent in terms of rendering a...

The product itself is excellent in terms of rendering a large cotton proof superbly waterproof. The application to a large tent is exhausting and time-consuming but worth it. This was tested within two weeks by a spectacular electrical storm in the French Pyrenees. However, the product needs clearer labelling for the consumer. One litre will comfortably waterproof a large cotton tent. In my ignorance, I bought 5! (Doh!)
