Info on the Nikwax Tent and Gear Solarproof

Nikwax have taken two tried and tested products, Tent and Gear Proof and UV [roof and combined them in one effective easy-to-use spray. This environmentally-friendly, water-based waterproofing and UV blocker is suitable for all weatherproof fabrics. From parasols to panniers, tents to rucksacks and awnings to marquees, this unique product offers waterproofing and UV protection in just one easy application.
Please note: Volumes of 1 litre do not come with a spray attachment. 5 litre volumes include a detached spray that sits in the bottle but does not screw into the entrance.

  • Waterproofs and protects against UV deterioration
  • One easy spray-on application can double the effective life of fabric
  • Speeds up drying time of a damp tent so it can be packed away quickly
  • Can be applied to wet fabric for ease of application
  • Environmentally-friendly, solvent-free, non-flamable, biodegradable product
  • You must wash your gear in Techwash first to ensure the surface is clean before applying product

Specification

Coverage:
  • 100 ml covers 1 square metre or 10 square feet.
  • 300ml covers a 2 person tent.
  • 500ml covers a 3-4 person tent.
  • 1 litre covers a family tent (5-8 persons).
  • 2.5 litres covers a large family tent.



How much will it cost to deliver my order?

Standard delivery is 2-3 days from the date of despatch. Orders under £100 the postage is £3.99 but orders over £100 the postage is FREE (UK Mainland Only)

Express delivery is 1 - 2 days from the date of despatch - £5.99

Next Working Day - £7.99 (Please note that the Next Working Day option is not available in all locations and is only available if all the items you are trying to order are in stock)

What if I want to return my order?

We hope you will be completely satisfied with the Nikwax Tent and Gear Solarproof purchased from Simply Hike. However should you wish, you can return the Nikwax Tent and Gear Solarproof for any reason within 28 days from the date of despatch for a full refund (less postage costs).

Items must be unused and in an as new condition with all packaging and labels/tags attached. The latest date for returns is printed on your delivery note for clarification.
