The Jester Backpack from The North Face has been redesigned for Winter with a comfortable shoulder strap and back panel that can be worn for lengthier periods. The Jester is a 30 litre rucksack which is an ideal size for travel, sightseeing, but also great for commuting to work and the large compartment will easily fit folders and books so great for school use too.

If you are going to be outside in all elements...

If you are going to be outside in all elements I would suggest you invest in a waterproof cover. The bag is waterproof to a point but not in a very heavy downpour!
