I already have a Trangia 27 and I needed the larger 25 for a recent cycle/camping tour of the Outer Hebrides. I think the Trangia stoves are excellent as a simple, no nonsense, ultra reliable stove. I prefer this type of stove for the ease of obtaining fuel in remote areas, most hardware and general stores sell methylated spirits. The stove is very easy to use, will work in any weather conditions, including howling gales. The pans are easy to use and large enough for the biggest of appetites. Adjusting the simmer control is difficult once it gets very hot so you have to be careful that you don't burn yourself on it (a metal tent peg or knife comes in useful here). It all packs down to a compact size and fits snugly in the bottom of a pannier bag. If you want a stove for one person buy the Trangia 27, the 25 is plenty big enough for two or more people. I also recommend buying the multidisc, this stores inside the cooker when not in use and is invaluable for chopping food and using as a strainer.
