The Trangia 25-8UL HA Cooker is an ultralight cooker designed for groups of 3 to 4 people on a camping or hiking trip. The 25 series of Trangia stoves are larger and therefore make great family stoves whilst still remaining a lightweight stove. The 25-8UL camping stove includes a stove with an aluminium windshield, 2 hardanodized pans in different capacities, a 22cm hardanodized frying pan and a 0.9 litre kettle along with essentials like a pan grip and windshields to prevent the flame blowing out.
The 25-8UL HA stove comes from Trangia's hardanodized range which has a corrosion resistant layer applied to their lightweight cookwear making items scratch resistant and hard wearing. Furthermore, this treatment makes stoves and their pots easier to clean! Trangia puts alot of focus on stoves being lightweight and this makes them perfect for backpacking as they take up minimal room in your rucksack whilst a strap keeps items together.

Bought for family camping

Bought for family camping 'expeditions'. Used once so far, good job, easy to light whatever the weather. All packs away into fairly neat package. Having the kettle is a useful addition.Takes about 12-15mins to boil 1L of water so not the quickest cooking stove. But its simple to use, no moving parts to break or let you down when you really need it.Good buy! PS...I would take the manual's quoted fuel consumption "0.5L meths per person per week" with a pinch of salt. We seemed to use about 0.5L for just 2 meals!

Impressively quick and strong

Impressively quick and strong. We used it a lot during our summer vacation and just loved it. It also was a point of attraction for the other campers. You see, in Greece you can't find Trangia sets or anything similar. One of our best purchases ever.

have just used this in dartmoor

have just used this in dartmoor. Excellent cooker and very lightweight. Boiled full kettle of water in windy conditions in a few minutes. Really very good product.

About Trangia

The Trangia camping stove is storm-proof stove that can be used in the most extreme mountain conditions. The burner runs on Tenol or methylated spirits, which are cheap, safe and easily available. The new gas range allows stoves to be used with bottle gas too. The 27 series is a 1 or 2 person cook set and the 25 series is suitable for 3 to 4 people. Duosall range offers extra strength lightweight pans.
