It's been 40 years since Vango started designing, testing and producing camping equipment for the big outdoors. Vango started out purely making tents but they are now in their 29th year in producing sleeping bags, rucsacs and camping accessories.

Review We've just spent 5 nights sleeping on these beds at Glastonbury Festival, so here's my findings:- Positives + The bed is very easy to build & pack away, it's like childsplay. + It's fairly comfortable and can hold my bodyweight with ease. + Other models which I considered were not as wide as this model and would likely be less comfortable as a result, particularly if you're planning on using it across several nights. + Makes a great 'guest bed' option if you don't have the room for a full-size bed in your house. Negatives - It's bulky - it's too large to fit inside a rucksack and too wide to tie to the bottom of the rucksack. - It's heavy - certainly too heavy to sensibly carry over a distance of more than around half a mile. Carrying two would be sheer madness without some kind of trolley. - You definitely need to purchase some kind of pillow with this bed; I purchased the Coleman Compact Outdoor Pillow which was excellent - compact and very light - but you'd likely need something else as well such as a jumper just to raise the level of the pillow a bit higher.
