Berghaus Freeflow Pro 30 Rucksack - Jet Black

Berghaus Freeflow Pro 30 Rucksack - Jet Black

Berghaus' Freeflow Pro 30 rucksack has replaced the Berghaus Freeflow IV 30 rucksack and has a new back system built around a T6 aluminium frame which makes it lightweight as well as providing a very precise gap between your back for improved airflow. A lower profile gap also makes the rucksack more stable and easier to pack but despite this gap your Berghaus rucksack will actually sit a little closer which provides a better weigh distribution. A revolve hip belt provides further stability whilst allowing you to move more freely and the Berghaus EVAbreathe foam straps provide additional comfort. The Freeflow Pro 30 rucksack is a 30 litre rucksack suitable for hiking and mountain use. A fantastic lightweight rucksack with some brilliant features.

This is a great disappointment

This is a great disappointment, inferior in all respects to the 2009 model 30 litre freeflow rucksack. The amount of expensive foam on the shoulder straps and waistband has been dramatically reduced; it appears to be suitable only for a midget with a very short back length; the 40mm bergbuckle has been replaced by a cheap and nasty little alternative; there are no inside pockets, and no zip on the outside one which will fill with water in the wet. Even the stingy diagram of parts is completely wrong suggesting that the raincover is in the top when in fact it is in the bottom, and the chest strap position is wrongly indicated. How this got past QA is beyond me. Another example of 'progress' going backwards and price going up.

Great bag

Great bag, low profile frame has much more stability. It doesn't feel like a balancing act as I'm cycling to work. Could do with a small zipped internal pocket, but a minor gripe.
