Was so chuffed when we found this product while researching...

Was so chuffed when we found this product while researching roof top boxes for our week away with our two children, managed to fit a mamas & papas buggy, travel cot, two small suitcases and a standard size holdall in to it! Liked the fact that the holdall can be folded up and stored away while not being used. The only problem was, on our return journey the heavens opened and by the time we got home, the clothes in our suitcases and electrical items in holdall were soaked, this item is NOT WATERPROOF which I would have thought would have been a standard requirement for this type of storage solution!! Good idea, shame about the sogginess!!

Very good product

Very good product. Easy to fit and use. It folds away to a compact easily stored size. The only problem is it's not waterproof so everything needs to be packed into plastic bags before stowing on the HandiHoldall. I use mine with the HandiRack and the combination is excellent. If the waterproofing issue could be cracked it would score a 10

Handiholdall worked very well

Handiholdall worked very well. Used on camping holiday and left on car for a week. There was a little condensation inside the holdall but it soon disappeared when zip left open a little. After some very heavy driving rain the holdall leaked which left some puddles of water inside. Easy to install on the handirack.

When fitted to regular metal roof bars there seems to be some slack which causes some wind noise/flapping against the roof but otherwise a great storage addition

Whilst it did what we needed it is not water...

Whilst it did what we needed it is not water proof, which in the UK would be classed as essential. It wasn't just that though, It wasn't made clear in the advertising of the product in general that it wasn't waterproof. In fact the manufacturers website states it's water resistant, howerer after you buy it in the instructions it say it is not! Make it waterproof and it's worth every penny but in it's current state I would want it to be about £30 less to cover the cost of buying waterproof baggage!
