Love my JetBoil and use it all the time and so thought the frying pan would be a useful addition for bacon sandwiches out and about. Having spent over 50 quid on the adapter/support (which allows you to use any pan with the jetboil) and the frying pan, I feel ripped off. However the frying pan is designed to dissipate the heat from the burner, the problem is that the jetboil flame is aimed at a very small area. When cooking, stuff in the centre burns and stuff at the edges doesn't cook. There is always masses of burnt residue stuck to the pan as well as poorly cooked food. Also the pan doesn't clip onto the burner like the jetboil does, and is a little unstable. It would make so much more sense to carry a cheap burner unit that has a wider burn pattern and use any sensibly priced frying pan.

Nice bit of kit

Nice bit of kit - the plastic cover that turns it into a plate is great.

Expensive unit for what you get

Expensive unit for what you get, hence the low rating. The pan has a non stick appearance but it is far from being so. It has a good design shape and overall is on the small side and a little impractical.
