Trangia 25-2UL Stove with Kettle. This storm-proof, spirit burning, aluminium stove is ideal for three/four people. The pans and kettle are slightly larger than the 27 series. The Trangia is a light, fast and, above all, reliable stove for the outdoors, in all weathers. Two windshields that fit together, a burner, a couple of pans, a combined lid/frypan, kettle and a handle. It is lightweight, needs no special care and is hardwearing. The Trangia stove is reliable, without unnecessary parts that can go wrong or be adversely affected by cold. The stove is quick to set up, and packs into a compact unit that takes up minimal space.

The silent burner has a simple, durable and safe design. Regardless of the weather, wind and season, it is easy to light. The spirit burner takes up little space and weighs less than a gas burner. The simmer ring is used to regulate the heat, which saves fuel, and is used to extinguish the flame. In severe cold, a winter attachment can be useful. A pre-heater is placed under the burner, filled with fuel and lit to warm up the burner. The accompanying, reflective plate is used as a base. The Trangia stove can also run on bottled gas. The Trangia range of accessories includes a gas burner and a multi-fuel burner.

Trangias are an excellent way of carting your cooking pots...

Trangias are an excellent way of carting your cooking pots and device all together in a compact and lightweight manner. You need to make sure you have your meths or cooking fuel sorted - it isn't always easy to get. It isn't the fastest way of cooking however the fact it it windproof balances this.

Great cooking equipment works in any weather and been used...

Great cooking equipment works in any weather and been used in some very wet weather. Disappointed about the burner leaking when store/carrying in rucksack. Had a faulty burner, had a small hair line crack in it. Contacted simply and they just replaced it no quibbles, excellent thanks guys great customer service. Try a little water in the meths (about 5% to 10%) reduces soot buildup on the pans.

Trangia Stoves are a well tried and tested product, a good stove for backpacking. The 25 series is the bigger version for 3-4 people.

This is an excellent product

This is an excellent product, and was sold at a very competitive price. There are three versions of the Trangia; this is the bigger one. It is not that much larger than the medium size one, and the smallest one is very small indeed. If you are considering a Trangia cooker then I would definitely recommend this version.

Only 1 mark off for slightly complicated instructions, but I realise that is slightly unfair. This is a CLASSIC design and a fantastic piece of kit!
