I think the 500ml bottle would be ample for general...

I think the 500ml bottle would be ample for general use , I purchased the 1L bottle which is a bit excessive for short trips.

Works excellently - i've had no spillages with this and the only smells of meths were created by a small amount left in the spout when i packed it. Also nice and light, so you don't feel you're sacrificing weight for safe fuel carriage.
