More skiing fun at Les 3 Vallees

The French ski resort Les 3 Vallees has invested in the improvement of its ski area, with special attention paid to making it more useful for both beginners and families.

Val Thorens, one of the resorts at the location, has built two new green runs - Musaraigne and Campagnols - that are easily navigable. While the first one is almost flat, the second is z-shaped, making turning easy for first-timers.

A new blue run called L'Eterlou will take beginners to the Grand Fond Funitel, which will lead them to the Col de Rosaël at a height of 3,000m. Another red run on the PleinSud sector named Les Chardons will let skiers access the new sunny picnic site 2,700m above sea level.

Families visiting nearby Meribel can now enjoy themselves in the Acticross and the Moon Wild, designed to let families have fun together.

The Acticross fun area has banked turns, woops, tunnels and small slaloms and can be accessed by children aged six and above.

La Tania, a third resort, has created 20 new snowmakers that will allow people to ski back to the resort easily even if the snow on the lower slopes starts melting.
