We have an extensive range of camping stoves aimed at both technical, light weight campers, those wanting a reliable stove to use at altitude or sub zero temperatures as well as family campers looking to cook a delicious meal on their family holiday.
For lightweight, technical camping on the mountain look at Jetboil, Optimus and MSR brands. These are lightweight and compact stoves with efficient systems for boiling water or melting snow fast. The Jetboil Sol Titanium system will boil your water in 2 minutes, even in sub-zero conditions, and the insulating cozy will keep the water warmer for longer. Alternatively, the compact Jetboil Helios all-in-one system is a compact little burner with pot, snap-on windscreen, push-button igniter and covers that double as plates or flying discs, whichever your prefer. Check out the Optimus Crux Lite for a really lightweight yet powerful gas stove at only 72 grams. This is a great gas camping burner for a single person.
If you're looking for a family camping stove or cooker check out our range from brands such as Coleman, Campingaz and Outwell. We offer single burner, 2 burner and 3 burner stoves and variations with grills, griddles and toasters to make preparing a meal easy and fuss free. Fold N Go stoves are great two burner stoves for couples which pack up easily for a quick get away in the morning. Larger stoves such as the Outwell 2 burner stove and grill is the ideal culinary appliance. It comes with windshield, autoignition and heat controls for its individual burners. By comparison, The Campingaz Camping Kitchen and Base Camp Stove do not come with built-in grill, but they have two burners. The GoSystem Dynasty Compact is an even lighter stove, with a single burner and auto-start ignition is comparable to the Coleman PowerPack single burner stove, with windblock, adjustable burner and a Perfectflow system for efficient fuel consumption.
Look out for what type of fuel your new stove will require. Gas stoves are cleaner and quieter than say a unleaded petrol stove. Be aware that smaller backpacking stoves will take smaller gas cartridges or liquid fuels that can be found around the world whereas larger camping cookers often require large gas bottles with a specific regulator and fitting.
For Duke of Edinburgh or school camping check out the Trangia range of stoves. These are spirit burner stoves coupled with a variety of pans and Trangia offer a gas burner which can be switched out for the spirit burner for more efficient cooking times.
