When choosing a mens insulated jacket you must first consider if you want it to also be waterproof as well as warm. We have a huge range of mens insulated jackets that suit autumn through to heavy winter weather. Alternatively we also stock non waterproof mens insulated jackets that may withstand a light drizzle but aren't designed for use in heavy rain or snow. More often than not these non-waterproof mens insulated jackets are a great garment to wear when it's cold and dry earlier in the Autumn months or late Spring and are a great buy as they can double up as a midlayer so you can wear them under any shell jacket.

The second thing you need to consider is what type of insulation will suit your requirements. Down and synthetic jackets are available in our store, however, both are designed for different purposed. Down insulated jackets are excellent for very cold but also very dry days but will fail to hold any heat if they get damp. A good substitute would be any water resistant down which will allow the down to still keep its loft if it's slightly damp. Bear in mind that a normal shower will still flatten the down.

Synthetic insulation, although not as luxurious, is the better bet in our UK climate. This type of insulation is cheaper, meaning the mens insulated jacket will be cheaper but also still provides warmth when wet and dries quickly.
