Our Meindl womens footwear range includes full height and mid cut walking boots and trail shoes with a wider last than a typical Italian made boot to give a great fit for wider feet. Since the seventeenth century, this Germany based family company has provided boots perfect for lengthy walks and comfortable hikes. Still to this day they have been testing and innovating using the latest technology to improve their product's performance. Working with Gore-Tex for a breathable lining and Vibram providing a high performance rubber sole, their Meindl womens footwear is fully protected against the elements faced in mountain walking.

Available from Simply Hike, the most popular boot in our Meindl womens footwear range is the Bhutan MFS Boot. Made from nubuck leather it is designed for demanding hikes and easy treks at a fairly low level. A comfortable yet functional boot, women's Bhutan Boot comes with Memory Foam System (MFS) for the ultimate comfort and fit. It adjusts to the shape of your foot around the ankle, collar and tongue zones so you do not feel the pinch or rub when hiking. Keeping you dry is the closed tongue which also keeps out the mud and dirt kicked up in your walk. The Bhutan MFS has even managed to create an easier, faster lacing system with new, more stable hooks.

Meindl is well known for its traditional leather boot range, however, they have introduced some younger, synthetic boots such as the Respond Lady and the Journey Lady. These are both GTX mid cut boots with a waterproof, synthetic upper which is more breathable than leather, easy to care for and lighter on the foot. 300 years of handmade boot making speaks for itself, but if that is not enough then perhaps their numerous, worldwide awards received over the years can be proof enough of their success.
