Our Vango Sleeping Bag range includes something for all types of camper, from family camping, Duke of Edinburgh and Scout use right up to Expedition use. Vango Sleeping Bags are considered some of the best bags on the market and with something to suit every budget you'll find a great quality sleeping bag for the best price. For cheap sleeping bags look at the Atlas and Wilderness range. These are synthetic filled sleeping bags perfect for those camping for the first time or on a restricted budget. Nitestar sleeping bags are a step up and offer double layer construction which is off-set to prevent warm air escaping and good for 3 season use from Spring through to Autumn. Look out for mummy style bags across the Atlas, Wilderness and Nitestar ranges when camping outdoors as these reduce empty space around the body and prevent cold spots forming which will give you a bad night's sleep. Rectangular bags or square sleeping bags give a lot more foot and leg room but are only good for summer on indoor use due to cold spots forming. The Harmony and Aurora ranges are rectangular bags perfect for family camping holidays and these come in oversized or XL version for taller campers or those that like a lot of space as well as double sleeping bags for couples. The Vango Latitude range sits above the Nitestar range and includes some great features to keep you warm and comfortable including 3D hood that can be pulled around your head to prevent heat loss and Thermal-Reverb which reflects body heat back to the camper. Finally, check out the Ultralite Pro sleeping bag range which, as its name suggests, is ultra-light and compact whilst still including features like Thermal-Reverb and a 3D hood but also is the only Vango sleeping bag range which includes a tri-lateral construction of 3 layers to reduce those pesky cold spots and maintain your core temperature. A good tip for Vango sleeping bags is to look at the number in the title of the bag. The number suggests how warm the bag is, for example 150 and 200 bags are mainly for summer use whereas Vango 450 sleeping bags are generally for winter or year round use.
